About The Program:
PictureFrame makes it easy, and simple to display a picture frame on your desktop. You can choose between 8 different picture frames, and if you ever wanna edit a premade picture frame, or made your own by app means feel free, just edit one that's located in the images folder, and save it over a premade one, and then startup PictureFrame, and there you go. Now what if you want it displayed above all other apps, or what if you don't? Well you can choose if you want PictureFrame pinned, or unpinned.

It's been quite a long time sense I've been on here, I think over half a year, but anyway, how's everyone doing??? Anything change sense I was gone???

Just to keep others intact with what I've been doing, I went ahead and navigated to Linux and used that for quite some time, but I still had some minor issues with it. Well some of you may knnow, and others maynot that I post video tutorials on YouTube, well I'm not going to lie I ended up forgetting about this site for quite some time, and makes me kinda sad now. What reminded me of it, is my dad asked me of any program to make his icons on his desktop look better (ring a bell?) and immidiately I thought of Fences, 360Desktop, and a cool toolbar trick on windows, which in essense brings me back.

Also I'd like to point out that I'm in the mix of making a couple programs, and once I get some of the coding errors fixed, along with the bug fixes. I'm going to need some individuals to test it out. Now you'll see further posts about that in the future, and I'll ask then for someone to test out.

Now I don't do much computer customization anymore, but you'll probably see some icons & wallpapers from me now.

ok I'm finally back, won't be on as much as before, because I'm working now, and got back into MMA. Although I quit doing all the drugs, and crap I did before got my life straightened out, and couldn't be better.

I gotta be honest with you guys though, I don't do computer customization anymore, other then wallpapers, so it seems because it's been so long sense I've been here I feel like a stranger now. (Just Saying)

I'm now running Windows XP SP2/Vista SP2, Ubuntu 9.04, Damn Small Linux, and Slax) I'm gonna be getting Windows 7, but I wanna get some other objectives done first.

Anyway how's things been going on here, and how are all you guys doing???

I've been a Windows user for years, I mean the first computer I ever had was a Windows OS, but I put Linux Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope on dual boot, the day I posted that "Removing and Changing Shortcut Arrow" tutorial, and I've been messing with the OS ever sense that post (well mainly sense I got back from vacation) and I love it, the special effects, it's never crashed on me, even with all the programs running, and 2 other operating systems going on the virual machine. It amazed me really fast, but then again my vista os crashes on me alot, and I don't know why, no viruses, or anything, and it's clean as can be, and doesn't get hot, just the programs go really high in CPU, and Memory Usage.

Not to mention I've found every program I wanted like Cinelerra (Alternative to After Effects), GIMP (Alternative to PhotoShop), Blender (Alternative to 3ds max, maya, and cinema 4d), FAUmachine (Similar to Microsofts Virtual PC), and so on.

Basically you're not gonna see much posts from me again, I'm not gonna say why the reason before was, cause it deals with a lot of drama, and also I forgot my password, but now I'm just gonna kick back, and spend time with my girl, my family, enjoy the summer, enjoy the Linux OS, keep up on my job, and so on.

So peace out everyone, take care, and I know it's late, but hope you all had a happy fourth. I know I did XD. (The easyest way to contact me would be on Freeware Tips, which the link is on my profile)

Oh and I took my aspab test (Deals with teh Army, long story), and got an 83% So I'm happy :).

For Windows Vista:
You will need Vista Shortcut Manager, but you can also do this with Vista Visual Master, as well.

Once you've installed Vista Shortcut Manager. Open it program up, and check "no arrow". Now the next time you log in it should take effect.

This tutorial will be fairly simple, because were going to use a code, instead of doing this manually.

The install code below, I want you to copy, and paste into Notepad, and then save it as Install.reg.

The uninstall code below, I want you to copy, and paste into Notepad as well, and then save it as Uninstall.reg.

Once you've have your files saved, right click the Install.reg file, and click Merge, and same goes for the uninstall.

Install Code:

Show Hide:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\CLSID\{ED228FDF-9EA8-4870-83b1-96b02CFE0D52}]
@="Videos"
"InfoTip"="Store videos"

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\CLSID\{ED228FDF-9EA8-4870-83b1-96b02CFE0D52}\DefaultIcon]
@="imageres.dll,176"

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\CLSID\{ED228FDF-9EA8-4870-83b1-96b02CFE0D52}\InProcserver32]
@="shell32.dll"

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\CLSID\{ED228FDF-9EA8-4870-83b1-96b02CFE0D52}\shell]

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\CLSID\{ED228FDF-9EA8-4870-83b1-96b02CFE0D52}\shell\open]

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\CLSID\{ED228FDF-9EA8-4870-83b1-96b02CFE0D52}\shell\open\command]
@="explorer shell:My Video"

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\CLSID\{ED228FDF-9EA8-4870-83B1-96B02CFE0D52}] @="Videos"

Uninstall Code:

Show Hide:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\CLSID\{ED228FDF-9EA8-4870-83b1-96b02CFE0D52}]

[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\CLSID\{ED228FDF-9EA8-4870-83B1-96B02CFE0D52}]

If you wanna know how to do this for XP, go here.

NOTE: You MUST have My Games visible on your start menu for this as it replaces that with My Videos. Also note that the Info Tip that appears when you hover the mouse cursor over the Videos icon seems to be unchangeable. It still reads Play and manage games on your computer.
